The dialog between simplicity and emotions starts with a problem but ends with a solution. To me, understanding functionality in purposeful design goes beyond aesthetics.

I have played countless roles as an interior designer, dancer, and painter. My relentless curiosity supports an informed creative process which leads to a passion for experimentation and empathy from various perspectives.

With a high level of self-awareness and a growth mindset, I am a team player with strong collaboration skills. I value diversity, equity, and inclusion. I aim to make a positive impact through optimizations, creating human-centered and universal designs.

My current goal is to continue working on high impact projects to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

My Chinese name is Xuelin (snow and beautiful jade) which means the purest and most precious thing in the world. I am a dog mom of an English Cocker Spaniel (Daisy the furzy), she loves pup cups and loves to lay in the mud.

I enjoy painting, traveling, camping, scuba diving, and flower arrangement. When I am not designing for work, I'm probably taking another adventure living in the woods or under the water.

I am fascinated by nature and the ocean on how they can inspire design because of their unique levels, but you will appreciate all abilities to be free from articulating all ideas into a tangible outcome.
